Launched in 2017, Premier League Primary Stars is the Premier League’s primary school education programme. It uses the appeal of football to inspire children aged five-to-11 to be active and develop essential skills.
Through delivery of the Premier League Primary Stars, Harrogate Town AFC CIO will:
- Provide opportunities for children to take part in more football, sport and physical activity
- Provide high-quality support to teachers with planning and delivery of PE, sport and active classroom learning
- Give children in the areas of most need the tools to achieve their best
- Increase children’s confidence and engagement in PSHE, English and Maths
- Increase engagement, and awareness of football’s positive impact in school and beyond

Our Early Years Specialists have an extensive knowledge of
tracking targets at Range 4 and incorporate these into
their session plans. Using this as well as a progress tracker
developed by them, we can ensure that you child will both
have fun and develop at an efficient level.


Our Little Gators programme follows directly on from Tiny
Gators and has been specifically designed to continue
catering for children aged 3-5 as they grow and develop
through Ranges 5 and 6.
Again, we continue to use the EYFS statuary framework as
the foundation for all session plans we create for your child.
Using our extensive knowledge of Ranges 5 and 6’s tracking
targets, we evolve and advance the sessions to ensure that
your child is continuing their journey of growth efficiently
and continue to monitor their development using our
simple but effective tracking method which we share with
your staff to aid them in assessing your child.
Education, this programme has been designed to cater for children
aged 5-7 who are currently in KS1 education.

Teacher’s non-contact time:Primary school teachers are legally entitled to PPA time for tasks like lesson planning, marking, and assessment.

Specialist delivery:Professional PE coaches deliver the PE lessons, following the national curriculum.

So, what is Wildcats? Well, it’s non-competitive football for girls who want to give it a go for the very first time or want to play with other girls their own age.
Most importantly, Wildcats is all about having loads of fun and meeting new amazing friends.


Aged 12-14 and keen to kickstart or continue your football journey? Squad Girls’ Football sessions are just what you need! A fun, non-competitive way to play football locally with friends, old and new.
Whether you’re completely new to the sport, are looking to transition from Wildcats, or simply want to give it a go, Squad Girls’ Football is designed to help develop skills and build confidence, whilst encouraging girls to play their way.
Our highly qualified staff deliver a variety of high quality after school clubs ranging from football, multi-sports, athletics, paralympic sports and tag rugby to name a few.

Harrogate Town AFC CIO are proud to be working alongside Yorkshire Cricket Board to be delivering Dynamos Cricket.
Dynamos Cricket provides a fantastic next step for all those graduating from All Stars Cricket and the perfect introduction for all 8-11 year-olds new to the sport!
Dynamos is all about fun and provides children with a more social offer, focusing on developing the fundamental skills required to play cricket.
