PE & School Sport Manager

Harrogate Town AFC Community Foundation have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PE professional to join our team and take on the role of PE & School Sport Manager.

We are looking for an individual who can manage and grow our existing PE & School Sport Offer, including our Premier League Primary Stars Programme.

We are looking for someone who can display and adhere to the values that underpin the Foundation's way of working. We expect them to be Passionate, Trustworthy, Considerate, Flexible and Progressive. They will have direct responsibility for liaising with existing schools, growing new schools business and leading a team of Community Coaches to support the high quality delivery of each programme.

This role will also be the lead designated safeguarding officer for school based activity and be accountable for the welfare of children and vulnerable adults under their responsibility in line with the Foundation’s Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adult Policy.

The role will also embrace equality, diversity and inclusivity in order to facilitate a consistent, co-ordinated and embedded approach to fairness and opportunity across the Foundation.
